网络研讨会: Measure Particle Size of Inks at Full Concentration with Microtrac’s Dynamic Light Scattering Probe Technology & Laser Amplified Detection

Using conventional Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) to measure size and zeta potential in emulsions has always encountered the challenge of the need to dilute. This is because if the solution has a higher concentration and is cloudy or opaque, conventional DLS instruments cannot handle such samples due to multiple scattering. The question in our minds is, “How would it affect the particles or proteins in my solution if I dilute it?”.

Microtrac’s new DLS probe technology overcomes these challenges and make measurements of opaque emulsions, where it is not possible with conventional DLS. We will present ink formulation as a case study to highlight the benefits of analyzing your emulsion.

Topics

  • How is Microtrac’s new Probe Technology different from conventional DLS
  • Case study of Ink formulation: Obtaining reliable size & zeta potential measurements without dilution
  • Summary of Probe Technology
